Deakin Uni, Burwood

The Deakin University Student Accommodation project in Burwood comprised three new buildings to complement the existing Burwood Student Village with an additional 577 bedrooms as 2, 4 and 6 bed self-contained apartments as well as a multipurpose function room, study rooms, break-out spaces and a common area on the rooftop.

Heritage Glass was instrumental in the design, fabrication and installation of the glazing and steel works to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment to welcome more student residents on campus and add to the appeal of studying at Deakin.

Over 5,000m2 of glass was supplied and installed for the three buildings; all locally produced with custom cladding and external feature fins which give the building a destinct character and improved passive design.
