Designed by Woods Bagot, Heritage Glass aided this immersive design made up of a new glazed canopy and glass protrusion at the Collins Street frontage and the recladding of the Flinders Lane external stairs with glass. The use of glass balustrades on the Flinders Lane stairs enhances the transparency of the overall design, and the new façade creates a welcoming entrance for visitors within the public space.
The whole glazed facade and rimex detail were completed by Heritage with approximately 250m2 of Glassworks’ LoE-366® low-e Insulated Glass Units supplied for its solar blocking and insulating benefits.
