Tiffany & Co, Melbourne

Tiffany & Co. undertook a revamp of their flagship store on Collins Street, Melbourne to reflect the design elements of the opulent Fifth Avenue store in New York. The design brief stressed the importance of maintaining consistency and conformance with the Tiffany & Co. brand.

Heritage Glass was responsible for drafting, supplying glass and the installation of the spiral staircase and interior art glazing. Sourcing both local and international finishes, Heritage Glass provided products that met international design guidelines as well as bespoke Australian design pieces. As part of the project, Heritage Glass delivered a glass balustrade printed with a mirror barcode pattern, a curved staircase balustrade glass, toughened slump feature glass and a custom laminated interlayed “Tiffany Blue” washed out feature glass which showcases in the store entry.

Glazing expertise and past experience meant that Heritage Glass could review and ensure the buildability of international and local design documentation and specifications as well as complying with local regulations and statutory requirements. Coordinating both preferred international suppliers and local subcontractors, Heritage Glass successfully realised an international store design with strict brand guidelines
